Budget Talks

The Government of Ontario will be holding Budget Talks for the fourth year in a row. Budget Talks is Ontario’s online, pre-budget consultation tool. It is a public forum for citizens to submit their ideas and discuss others. We’re setting aside up to $5 million in the Ontario Budget, to fund citizen submitted ideas. This year one of the focus areas for idea submission is helping Ontarians find child care information.

We are hoping to get your help, by asking you to share the consultation link with your followers on social media. The goal is to increase the number of quality submissions received this year. Please see the toolkit attached which includes sample Facebook and Twitter copy and an image for posting on your channels. The deadline to submit ideas is midnight (EST) on November 3. If possible to share the message before then that would be much appreciated.

Please visit ontario.ca/BudgetTalks for a full list of focus areas and further information about the Budget Talks process
