LRCC’s centre-based program builds upon the child’s interests. Environments are a planned and thoughtful approach to learning where children discover about themselves and the world around them through investigation and exploration. Environments foster creativity, promote wonder and encourage each child’s natural curiosity and desire to explore and learn.
The benefits of licensed centre-based care are:
- Ministry of Education regulated and inspected annually
- Your children are with other children in their age group
- Team Members include Early Childhood Education professionals with training in early childhood education
- Activities are designed for children at different stages of development following our Program Statement and philosophies behind “How Does Learning Happen?” documents
- Child care fee subsidy may be available for your family

The BACCC provides an environment that fosters creativity, promotes wonder and encourages each child’s natural curiosity and desire to explore and learn, all within a licensed childcare setting. Our Educators promote the health, safety, and well-being of your children while encouraging exploration of the environment surrounding them. Our positive learning environments further your child’s experiences in a way that each child’s learning and development is supported and encouraged.
To further assist the educators and the parents of the children in care, LRCC is utilizing the program HiMama, which provides daily digital updates on children in care to complement the important face-to-face interactions with parents. Using tablets, the program allows educators and providers to record children’s activities as they happen throughout the day. It includes; real-time email updates through photos in a journal format that can be accessed by parents through the HiMama mobile app. It is the continuing goal of LRCC to implement HiMama throughout our programs.
Please contact the Supervisor for more information and to register your child.
